Odor control for waste water treament
Based on a long experience Etoiles OdourMikko series are developed to solve odor removal difficulties in waste water pumping stations and wastewater treatment plants. Great experiences improving the living and working environment have been achieved with the method.
Also corrosion caused by the gas has been reduced significantly: Reduced additional emergency services as an advantage. Example targets:
– The waste water pumping stations of water co-operatives and waste water transfer lines with a strong formation of hydrogen sulphide due to long lag times.

At the waste water treatment plants odors have been removed for example from centrifuge, decanting tanks, silos and sludge thickener. This has prevented odors from spreading and at the same time it ensures employees a pleasant working environment.

By installing an activated carbon filter equipped with a fan at the site, unnecessary maintenance call-outs have decreased and the service life of structures has been extended as corrosion caused by gases has been reduced.
